Welcome to RU3D. This website is operated by RU3D (owner: Ruduan Joubert). Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to RU3D. By using our website, placing an order or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 or any other law that cannot legally be excluded.

1. Overview

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers and users of the website, together with our Returns and Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our products. Payments are processed securely by Payfast; we never see or store your full card details.

2. Using Our Store

By using our store, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old, or are using the store with the consent of a parent or guardian
You will not use our products or services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
You will not transmit viruses, malicious code or anything that could disrupt the website

We may suspend access to the website if these Terms are breached.

3. Orders and Acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email after payment has been received. We may decline or cancel an order – for example, if a product is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund you in full.

Most products are made to order. Production and delivery times are explained in our Shipping Policy.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR). Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Prices and promotions may change without notice, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Automatic discounts and promotions apply only as described and only while they are active.

5. Personalised and Custom Products

For personalised or custom products, you are responsible for the accuracy of the names, wording, photographs, files, measurements and other details you supply, and you confirm that you have the right to use any photographs, logos or designs you send us. We may decline to produce content that is offensive, unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.

Cancellations, returns and refunds for these products are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy.

6. Product Information and Images

We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Because products are 3D printed to order, small variations in colour, texture and finish can occur, and colours may look different on different screens. Sizes stated on the website are approximate unless stated otherwise.

7. Accuracy of Information

We aim to keep all information on the website accurate and up to date. If we discover an error in a description, price or availability, we will correct it and, where it affects your order, contact you before proceeding.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website – including original RU3D designs, product photographs, text, logos and graphics – belongs to RU3D or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written consent. Products sold under licence from other designers remain the intellectual property of those designers.

9. Third-Party Links and Tools

The website may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools (for example, social media, payment or delivery services). We are not responsible for their content or practices; please review their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Comments, Reviews and Submissions

If you submit reviews, photos, ideas or feedback, you give RU3D permission to use them on our website and social media. You agree not to submit anything offensive, unlawful, misleading or that infringes another person's rights. We may remove any submission at our discretion.

11. Personal Information

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website or services to break any law, upload malicious code, collect other people's data without consent, or disrupt the website or its security.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, RU3D is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website, or from the use of a product for a purpose other than that for which it was sold and described.

This does not exclude or limit our responsibility for defective products, our obligations under the Consumer Protection Act, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify RU3D against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, or from content (such as photographs, logos or designs) you supply that infringes the rights of another person.
